Rachel Sinclair, LMHCA

I see clients with a broad range of needs, but specialize in working with individuals navigating cancer treatment, cancer survivorship, and trauma. As a breast cancer survivor, I know firsthand the emotional complexities involved while being treated for cancer and learning how to navigate life after treatment. I also work with first responders and healthcare workers experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, trauma (and vicarious trauma). Caring for others in their worst moments is heavy but doesn't need to be carried alone. Therapy offers a safe place to let someone else bear witness to your pain and help guide you through it.

I practice counseling from a trauma-informed lens and existential framework, mainly drawing techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based perspectives.

I’ve worked in the mental health field for the last 8 years and have mainly worked with those experiencing mental health crises. I see clients with a broad range of needs, but specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, and the emotional complexities that come with medical experiences. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply sensing that something in your life needs to shift, therapy can offer a space to explore what matters most to you.
